1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using ProjectScout (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Acceptable use
- Use the Service only for lawful business purposes.
- Do not attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute aggregated data without written permission.
- Do not use the Service to harass, defame, or infringe the rights of any person or organisation.
- Do not interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the Service.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access.
4. Account security
We recommend strong, unique passwords. We may suspend access if we detect activity that compromises the Service or other users.
5. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, scoring models, and aggregated presentations are owned by ProjectScout. Source data remains the property of its originating publisher. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal business purposes during an active subscription or trial.
6. Subscription and billing
- A 7-day free trial is provided at signup and does not require a payment method.
- Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in NZD via Stripe.
- You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are at our discretion and are generally not provided for partial months.
7. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, abuse the Service, or fail payment. You may close your account at any time from your profile.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, ProjectScout is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or financial loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the fees you have paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. The courts of New Zealand have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, the version number changes and you will be asked to accept the updated version before continuing to use the Service.
